Panthers News · Spring Sports Postponed

Following the guidelines set forth by Governor Dewine, the Licking Valley athletic department regrets to inform you that all spring sports at Licking Valley will be put on hold from Saturday March 14th until Monday April 6th. This includes practices, games, lifting sessions, open gyms, and any other organized team activity. If Governor Dewine would happen to extend the required closing period, then our postponement of spring sports will be extended that required length of time as well.

This will also mean that all of our athletic facilities will be closed to any outside sporting activities that have been scheduled through our facility use system.

For the spring sports of baseball and softball, the Licking County League ADs will be working on an alternate schedule allowing our athletes some practice and scrimmage time before starting league play that counts toward league standings. This schedule will be distributed through the head coaches of each program once it becomes available.

This is a very unfortunate situation that we find ourselves in but we will do our best to make sure we offer our athletes a positive experience once we are allowed to resume practicing/playing.
